Aprilia USA announces Dealer Supported Teams 2007 March 2, 2007
Aprilia USA recently invited all of its dealers to apply for a few select factory supported race teams for the 2007 season. The open invitation sought any current Aprilia dealers who desired to field Aprilia products in select national and regional racing series. The effort resulted in an overwhelming response.
Aprilia dealers are among the most enthusiastic competitors and ultimately three dealers were selected based on their overall presentation, past experience and level of commitment.
“We’ve heard from dealers in the past that they want to race Aprilia products,” says Aprilia Brand Manager Rick Panettieri. “This program was designed to get dealers what they need to start racing. After reviewing all the dealer applications we selected three dealers to supply motorcycles and parts support for. We are really excited to see our dealers racing these motorcycles on the local and national level. The heart of the Aprilia brand has always been racing, and dealers who race have always represented our brand with the passion and spirit that Aprilia is known for.”
