Buell XB12X leads Queensryche Charity Ride on upcoming Tour August 23, 2006

The Buell Ulysses XB12X motorcycle is riding across America for charity this year as the legendary metal band Queensrÿche raises money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation during their upcoming tour, which begins August 25.

For fans making a donation, Queensrÿche is offering the opportunity to join singer Geoff Tate and guitarist Mike Stone as they ride their Buell Ulysses motorcycles between select tour stops on the tour. In addition to the ride-along opportunity, Queensrÿche is donating exclusive prize packages for auction at tour stops in Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, New York, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

There will be a special ride in Seattle on Oct. 16 and afterwards, both of the Buell Ulysses motorcycles ridden by Tate and Stone, along with their Buell riding jackets and helmets, will be auctioned to raise money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.

To help support this worthy cause and to highlight the Buell Ulysses motorcycles that will lead the ride across America, Buell.com ran a special online “Rock and Roll with Queensrÿche” promotion from June 26 through July 13. During this promotion, Buell gave away a set of concert tickets and a special autographed copy of the new Queensrÿche CD Operation: Mindcrime II. A new winner was selected every day from registered users of Buell.com who entered the contest.
