Team Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin and Ben Spies finished first and second in the Road America AMA Superbike double-header weekend’s Sunday race in Elkhart Lake as team mate Aaron Yates finished in sixth.
The victory is Mladin’s 46th AMA Superbike career win and he’s the only rider to win six AMA Superbike races at Road America and both he and Spies have dominated all nine races on their GSX-R1000s this year.

Parts Unlimited Ducati’s Ben Bostrom and Neil Hodgson tested at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah on Wednesday and Thursday. Bostrom and the Ducati 999 were unofficially fastest at the test, the first time at the track for many of the AMA Superbike competitors including the Parts Unlimited Ducati Team.

Parts Unlimited Ducati’s Neil Hodgson improved to fourth place in Sunday’s AMA Superbike race at Infineon Raceway, applying pressure on third place in the final laps in the second contest of the weekend. Teammate Ben Bostrom finished seventh on his Ducati 999 Superbike in a race meeting with limited track time due to weather issues.

Kawasaki Racing Team rider Roger Hayden, who earned the pole position earlier in the week, battled to his second-straight victory in AMA Supersport action at Barber Motorsports Park on Sunday. Attack Kawasaki riders Ben Attard and Damon Buckmaster finished fourth and fifth respectively.
In AMA Superstock on Sunday, Attard and Buckmaster started with a considerable gap between each other after the first lap. Buckmaster crossed the stripe in 11th while Attard had his work cut out for him after starting in 18th. Buckmaster slipped three positions during the 17-lap battle to finish in 14th.
