BSB: Airwaves Ducati Set To Continue Winning Ways At Oulton April 27, 2006

Airwaves Ducati head to the fourth round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park this weekend with Gregorio and Leon holding first and second place in the championship.

It has been a successful year so far for the Airwaves Ducati team; Lavilla has started his championship defence by breaking the lap record at every circuit visited so far. He took a double win in the last round at Thruxton with team mate Leon Haslam coming second in both races, resulting in Airwaves Ducati having double podium finishes in the last five races.

After a welcome two-week break following the Qatar Grand Prix, the Kawasaki Racing Team head across the Bosporus to Asia for this weekends Grand Prix of Turkey, at the impressive Istanbul Park circuit.

MotoGP: Makoto Highly Motivated For Istanbul

The 5.328km circuit situated 62 Km far from Istanbul, on the South Eastern part of the city, will host the MotoGP World Championship for the second time, a little more than six months from the first MotoGp Gran Prix of Turkey hold here last October.

AMA Superbike: Kawasaki Wins Supersport At Barber

Kawasaki Racing Team rider Roger Hayden, who earned the pole position earlier in the week, battled to his second-straight victory in AMA Supersport action at Barber Motorsports Park on Sunday. Attack Kawasaki riders Ben Attard and Damon Buckmaster finished fourth and fifth respectively.

In AMA Superstock on Sunday, Attard and Buckmaster started with a considerable gap between each other after the first lap. Buckmaster crossed the stripe in 11th while Attard had his work cut out for him after starting in 18th. Buckmaster slipped three positions during the 17-lap battle to finish in 14th. Attard advanced to finish 15th.
