Ducati Hypermotard Technical Specifications February 9, 2007
As the countdown starts for the arrival of this exciting new bike in Ducati showrooms all over the world, Ducati plans to keep us all updated every step of the way with news of the final tech spec, styling, technical details and pre-production developments.
First unveiled as a concept bike at the Milan show in November 2005, the Hypermotard was hailed an instant success winning the ‘Best of Show’ award from the Motorcycle Design Association just hours after being launched. Since then, Ducatisti from all over the world have been awaiting the arrival of the production version.
Taking the Supermotard concept and adding Ducati’s unmistakeable twin-cylinder smoothness and Superbike-quality handling, the Hypermotard is promised to achieve an incredible balance - one of the most extreme bikes of the entire Ducati range and a motorcycle that is fun, easy and thrilling to ride every day of the week.
As the Hypermotard 1100 and 1100 S approache their pre-production stages, Duacti has now released the latest Technical Specifications which are still subject to slight alteration before production.
