Italian Supertwins: Bartolini and Millona a winning couple September 8, 2006
Valter Bartolini and his NCR Millona Factory 06 ran an incredible race. The 4th round of the Supertwins Championship was dominated by the “imolese” rider, without leaving any chance to the other competitor. The pole position was conquered by Valter with a good 1.43:6, behind him Bentivogli with 1.45:0 and 3rd place Guareschi with 1.45:3.
The race pace of the Millona during the contest was incredible, running from 1.43:8 (record lap) to 1.44:3 beating the competition by 21 seconds by the end.
Guareschi (Moto Guzzi Mgs-01, second) and Bentivogli (Bimota DB5, 3rd) obtained their best lap during the race with 1.45:952!
Valter was the fastest rider of the weekend in both the practices and the race in all categories in Vallelunga (Coppa Italia 600 Superstock, Santerno Cup 1000 4V, Monomarca Honda 600RR and others).
A supreme and an absolute domination by Millona, that reaffirmed the Millona as King of Open 2 valves category and not only because the times gained by Valter but the fact that the Millona was the faster than all of open class 4 valves (much more then 170 hp) running in Vallelunga.
