Sixth Supermoto GP location announced September 25, 2006

The location of the sixth Supermoto Grand Prix of the season has finally been announced.On October 8, the FIM Supermoto World Championship will head to the North West of Italy for the Dunlop Grand Prix of “Les Alpes de la Mer”.

The location will be the town of Busca, near Cuneo, on the Busca Karting Club.

The circuit has a 15,000 square metre paddock and is about 1500 metres long, with an average width of nine metres.

For the organisation of the event, Youthstream will be working once again with Italian promoter DBO as it did in the Dunlop Grand Prix of Europe and in the Dunlop Grand Prix of Sardinia, and as it will be in the Dunlop Grand Prix of Italy scheduled for the 15th of October in Latina.

Giuseppe Luongo, Youthstream President, said: “I am really looking forward to starting this new partnership with the circuit of Busca.

“Italian fans like Supermoto a lot and in Busca they will find all they need to enjoy an intense weekend of Supermoto racing.”

Danilo Boccadolce, DBO President, said: “I am very satisfied of the agreement we found with the Busca circuit staff.

“They have clear goals in their mind and thanks to the help of local institutions, whom I thank, we made to set an important medium-long term program.

“Important investments will make the circuit of Busca a reference mark in the World of Supermoto.”
